Folk Pottery from the Vyškov Region
The exhibition of Vyškov folk pottery presents one of the most important collections of faience in Moravia.
The exhibits depict the development of faience from the Haban beginnings in the 17th century, through the first domestic makers from the Vyškov area, to products of Vyškov origin from the 18th to 20th centuries.
The wide-ranging production of Vyškov Täufers is documented by the many shapes and the variety
of decoration of these ceramic products.
More about Vyškov’s folk faience pottery and its decorative motifs can be found here.
